William “Glenn” Bylsma

Age 61, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on May 21, 2018. Glenn was born on April 21, 1957 in Bellflower, California. Glenn was born to William Bylsma and Effie (Beyenhof) Bylsma. Glenn is preceded in death by his father, William Bylsma; his father in-law, Robert Scholten; and mother in-law, Pauline Scholten. Glenn moved to Idaho in 2016 from Norwalk, California. He had a passion for golf, fishing, riding off road vehicles, motor homing, and communicating with his many friends and family members. Glenn worked with his father at William Bylsma Carpet Installations.

Survivors include, his wife of 39 years, Rowann Bylsma, of Meridian, Idaho; children, Brian Bylsma, of Boise, Idaho, Michelle (Ryan) Moore, of Tustin, California; and new grandbaby, Landon Dean, born to Michelle and Ryan on May 17th 2018, just 5 days before Glenn’s passing. Little Landon will always have a special angel watching out for him; siblings, Deann (William) Jauregui, Joyce (Jim) Ver Hoef, James Bylsma, brother in-laws, Bob “Blue” Scholten, Bruce (Laurie) Scholten, Kevin (Cynthia), Donalyn (Chris), Thomas (Shelly), Paul (Mijanou) and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services and celebration of life to be determined at a future date. Glenn cherished his relationships with all his friends and family, Rowann and the children would like to thank you all for your support during this difficult time.

    You know they say that if you learn something new, that day was not wasted. As Brian’s Realtor in the sake of his Norwalk home, I met Glenn and he was always very cheerful and busy working around the home. I had many interesting conversations with Glenn and I learned something new each time. Glenn reminded me of a younger Mick Jagger,. He was knowledgeable in every subject. I never looked at him as being sickly he was full of life and courage.

    Sorry to hear about Glenn my best friend in grade school jr high and high school.. Loved him like a brother I never had. Love to his family Rowann Deanna Joyce and James. To Bill and Effie.
