Timothy Wayne Snyder, 58, of Nampa, died Wednesday, May 20th after a two-month battle with cancer.
He was born to the late Cora Jean and Stuart “Butch” Snyder, Nov 10, 1956, in Pierre, SD, as the youngest of seven children. He graduated from Theodore F. Riggs High School in 1975 and later returned to study to be a machinist at school in Sturgis, SD.
Tim’s only daughter Liberty was born March 23, 1983. Tragically, Liberty’s life was cut short at the age of 10 due to a brain tumor. It was during this dark time that Tim met Diane Beth Mikkelsen, a hospice nurse who would eventually become his wife.
Tim’s closest friends and family knew him as a true sportsman, with a deep love of hunting, fishing, camping, and being close to nature.Tim’s knack for training bird dogs made him an especially good bird hunter, regularly bringing in quail and pheasant from his trips and outings.
Tim is survived by his brothers Chuck, Ron, Ed, and Jerry, his sisters Linda and Connie, his four step-children Lance, Christie, Bret, and Jana, and three more brothers-from-another-mother Bobby, Larry, and Mickey.
