Terry Loy Billingsley “DAD” was born on February 12, 1945, in Long Beach, CA to James and Muriel Billingsley. He spent his childhood in Long Beach, CA before moving to Burley, ID, as a teen. He married Gaye Christensen, and Tammy and I were blessed to have them as parents.
Long haul truck driving was his passion and he did it for very many years. He lived his life his way and got into trouble along the way, but he lived with integrity and followed through on his word. My sister and I knew we could count on him no matter the circumstance. He loved his grandchildren very much and was proud of Brandon, Casey, Billy, Mikea , Gracie, and 8 great grandkids. Despite very poor health, he held out for the birth of great grandson Porter, born to grandson Brandon and his wife Annie. Brando held a special place in dads heart and always made time for dad, visiting and taking him places.
He was released from the pain of his failing body on February 21, 2019, and reunited with the dog that he loved so much, BooBoo.
Dad wished to be cremated and scattered with Boo, so no services have been planned.
