Tammy was born in Rupert, Idaho to Don and Fae Courtright on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1956. She moved around and lived in several places including Idaho, Arizona and Utah. Tammy married Dallas John on August 17, 1974 in Middleton, ID. She welcomed her first child, Amanda (Mandy) Fae on December 19, 1977. Soon after Tammy and Dallas welcomed their second child Benjamin Don on May 11, 1979. Mom was a loving mother, who took the time to stay home and raise her children with love while instilling in them a deep dedication to education and hard work. Tammy worked as a dedicated and loving caregiver for most of her life, not only dedicating years with her children, but also caring for elderly and ill patients, as a home-health care giver. She also cared deeply for her greatest gift, her grandchildren. She, then, became the manager at the Warhawk Air Museum gift shop, which brought her nearly 20 years of joy. She was happiest when surrounded by her family; her children and her grandchildren. Tammy’s favorite way to spend a day was working in her flower bed with a granddaughter by her side.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
