Rose Ann (Rivera) Spath

Rose Ann (Rivera) Spath

Rose Ann (Rivera) Spath born February 22, 1967, in Port La Vaca, Texas to Pedro and Guadalupe Reyes Rivera went to heaven on November 20, 2020.   Rose was a graduate of Wilder High School (1985). She was a cheerleader, volleyball player and enjoyed basketball.  Rose attended Boise State University while working as a preschool teacher at Headstart in Wilder.  She loved children, had a kind heart and forgiving disposition, which helped with teaching.  She changed jobs a few times until she started her own business to support her two beautiful girls, Christina Marie Barron and Sarah Michelle Rivera.  She knew she loved numbers  and people and wanted to know where she could use both and still earn an income.  Rose decided to put her knowledge of managing and numbers into accounting and started her own business which was known as Bookkeeping By The Numbers.  She loved working with people, where she could help with their taxes, bookkeeping and all aspects of their business.  She was a very well rounded person in her life and loved her work and her clients.  No matter how stressed she would get if someone needed her she would make sure to help them with their needs.  She would go as far as helping people without charge.  She never meet a person who she would not take a moment to talk to.  She found that if you meet someone and shared of yourself with them it might open a door for them to share either a need or a blessing.  She truly believed that without God and his message to reach out to others to share your belief, that you could walk someone to God.  She was our teacher in helping others and following God.   When she decided someone should know God she was relentless she would follow up every conversation, do you know God, have you prayed about it, you need to give it to God.  She was a special soul.  She always knew we were all sinners and she was too but she never gave up.  Rose passed away from complications from Covid-19 but not without a fight.  She knew she had a beautiful grand daughter Charlize Rose Brinkley that she loved and lived to love and would do anything for her.  She loved being a Nana and would not change that for the world and her granddaughter loved her as fiercely.  They did many things, together from baking cakes, cookies and cupcakes to dancing and shopping, Rose loved her Charlie.  Rose will not be here to see her new granddaughter to be born in January but it is very clear she is enjoying her granddaughter in heaven and the rest of her family, mother, brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  Rose will be missed and our hearts are heavy with this loss but knowing she is in no more pain and was loved by so many her children and family will be moved closer to God through her passing.  Rose was preceded in death by her Father Pedro River, Mother, Guadalupe Rivera, brothers Rudy Rivera, Ruben Rivera, and Robert Rivera, as well as her Grandparents and many aunts and uncles.  Rose is survived by her two daughters , whom she loved, Christina Marie Barron (granddaughter Charlize Rose Brinkley) and Sarah Rivera, three sibling Rebecca (Scott) Brady, Roland (Rosemary) Rivera and Rachel (John) Grunenwald  and sister-in-law Lynnette Rivera as well as several nieces and nephews, great nephew and nieces  all of whom she loved with all her heart.  Rose will be truly missed by her family, friends and all her loved ones.

Rose, may you rest in peace. Life was too short for you, but in that short time you created beautiful things, like your family, your career and the love you had for everybody. Rest in peace angel of God.
