Shirley Korell

Shirley A. Korell of Kuna, Idaho, passed away on January 2, 2026. She was born March 11, 1947, to Joseph Vodopich, Jr., and Alice (Ames) Vodopich Widger in Delta, Colorado, eventually moving to Torrington, Wyoming, when she was a child.

Shirley spent many years farming and raising a family near Torrington and Lingle, Wyoming. After that, she went on to earn her Registered Nursing degree, working in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Idaho as an RN, eventually becoming a Director of Nursing at a nursing home in Idaho. She spent her retired life in Idaho enjoying family, friends, and her dog, Manny.

Shirley was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is loved and will be missed by her children, Deanna Korell-Hall, Tod Korell, Andi Arnold, and Nikki Davis; her grandchildren, Brittany, Scott, Jordan, Jacob, Hailey, Katie, and Dagan; as well as six great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph and Alice; stepfather, William (Bill) Widger; sister, Doris Clubb; and brothers, Ron Vodopich and Roy Vodopich.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Wyoming.
