Sherry Anne Black Obituary (1964

Sherry Anne Black passed away on November 2nd at her home in Eagle. She was surrounded by family and friends who helped her through her year-long battle with colon cancer. She is survived by her husband Tim Black and two daughters Faith and Kayla Black. She was 58.Sherry was born on June 30 1964 in Fremont Ca. and moved with her family to Eagle in the summer of 2015.Sherry was a reading tutor and her passion was working with children and adults that struggled with dyslexia. She was very proud of her students and worked hard to help them improve their reading and spelling skills which at the same time boosted their self-esteem and confidence. Sherry also loved nature walks, baking and going to the beach or a lake she always liked being around water. But the one thing she enjoyed the most was being around her family on the holidays or casual visits. Family was always important to her.Her laughter, voice, personality and kindness will be greatly missed.Sherry was a bright light in our world, always concerned about other people more than herself. Through her shined the light of God and with that light she made friends wherever she went. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 11 AM at the BellaVida funeral home at 9661 Chinden Blvd., Garden City, ID 83714.
