Norman Crofts

Boise, Idaho

In the immortal words of Mark Twain, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." And so it was with our beloved Norman "Nick" Crofts, who passed away on May 3, 2026. Nick lived his life to the fullest, embracing every moment with vigor, passion, and a sense of humor that endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. His legacy is not one of fear, but of a life well-lived, marked by remarkable resilience, unwavering love for his family, and a capacity to find joy in the simplest of things.

Nick, a man of distinctive character, was a beacon of wisdom and strength to his family and friends. His humble beginnings instilled in him a sense of gratitude and an appreciation for the finer things in life - love, friendship, and the subtle beauty of a well-kept garden. His deep-rooted love for his family was evident in his everyday actions. His dedication and love for his wife, Sandra, was the epitome of a lifelong romance, their bond unbroken by the sands of time. Nick's commitment to his children, Caprice and Clayton, was equally admirable. He took immense pride in their achievements, guiding them through life's ups and downs with a steady hand and a loving heart.

Though we mourn the loss of our dear Norman, we also celebrate the remarkable life he led. He was a man who believed in the power of love, the strength of family ties, and the importance of living each day to its fullest. Norman is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, and by the following immediate family members:
Terry Crofts - brother
Children of son Curtis Crofts
Cassiana, Carlee and Cruz
Clayton Crofts - son
Children of Clayton Crofts
Mitchell and McKenna
Caprece and Alan Hart - daughter
Children of Caprece Crofts Hart
Ashly, Aimee and AJ"

He is preceded in death by his son, Curtis, whose memory he held close to his heart. As we remember Norman, let us be inspired by his unwavering spirit, his zest for life, and his enduring love for his family.

In the words of Norman himself, "Life is a grand adventure or nothing at all." And so, we invite you to join us in celebrating Norman's grand adventure. Share your memories, stories, and photographs of Norman on his memorial page. Let us remember him not with sorrow, but with joy and gratitude for the love, laughter, and wisdom he brought into our lives.

Nick was strong, kind, thoughtful and generous. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. 7

Norman's ashes will be interred at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise, Idaho.
