Mark Mayfield passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love,
faith, and laughter that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Vickie Cordon, and her husband, Lee Cordon; his
loving wife, Michelle Mayfield; his children and their spouses, Rachel and Quinton
Edwards, and Ammon and Courtney Mayfield; and his two favorite granddaughters, Sophie and Amelia Mayfield. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Jason and Nicole Mayfield, Heather and Elliott Jensen, Jared Mayfield, and Lisa and Jared Burt. He
was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Mayfield.
Mark loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all his heart and could outscore anyone on a Book of Mormon comprehension test. He was religious about his scripture study, his rock
music playlists, and his daily mugs of hot chocolate.
A lover of board games and Dungeons & Dragons, Mark’s greatest joy was simply spending time with his family. He was spontaneous and delightfully unpredictable — whether he was being a goofy dancer, striking up a conversation with a stranger, or sharing his testimony of Jesus Christ.
Mark’s warmth, humor, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew him. His memory and example will live on in the lives of those he loved so deeply.
