Laure Anne Webb Obituary Laure Anne Webb, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on May 31, 2023, in Parma, ID, at the age of 62. She was born on May 8, 1961, in Buffalo, NY. Laure's journey through life touched the hearts of many. Laure was a woman of strength, compassion, and grace. She shared a loving bond with her devoted husband of 40 years, Jose Torres, and together, they built a life filled with cherished memories. Family was of utmost importance to Laure, and she had a special love for her children: Shanna Campos, Shawndel (Jason) Elliott, Shawn (Tiffany) West, and Shain (Ashley) West. Her grandchildren, Joel Jr, Adam, Alexia, Carter, Emily, Abigail, Caleb, Samuel, Elijah, Isaak, Jacob, Jakobe, Matthias, AshLynne, Taylee, Taylen, Tynlee, Tyelen, and great-grandson Malahkai, brought immeasurable joy and love into her life. Laure cherished her siblings: Richard (Karen) Manuel, Yvonne (Travis) John, Constance Suzanne, Sherill (Mike) Beattie, and Linda (Allan) Ali. Laure also had numerous nieces and nephews: Erika (Tony), Nik, Jenifur (Ernesto), Sierra, Joel, Codi, Jordan (Mariah) and their children. All of whom were very dear to her heart.
Laure's warm and welcoming nature attracted lifelong friendships, and she valued the bonds of friendship dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, engaging in lively conversations, quilting, or simply enjoying each other's company. A special mention goes out to her long-time friends, Laurie Kessler and Gudelia Gomez. Laure had a talent for making people feel included and valued, and her presence brought both laughter and occasional exasperation as she fearlessly spoke her mind and challenged others to see the world from different perspectives.
In memory of Laure, we remember her loved ones who passed before her: her mother, Glenda Fleeson, her brother, Shannon West, nephew Kevin West, niece Reme Anne Clark, and son Angel. Their memories remain alive in the hearts of those who loved them.
Laure's legacy extended beyond her immediate family. She had a big love for animals and would take in stray pets, nursing them to good health even if it meant waking up all hours of the night to bottle-feed them. Laure was also a true artisan, finding joy in painting, knitting, sewing, and quilting. Her quilts, were true works of art, symbolized the warmth and love she shared with her family and friends, with each stitch embodying her creativity and passion.
