Gary was a kind, generous, fun-loving, gentle soul who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was married and divorced twice - father to three sons, had two brothers and a sister. After retirement as a driver for Consolidated Freightways, he traveled for a few years and met Jane, the love of his life. She and her grandchildren cared for him along with Jane's daughter, Tamara, until he died. He grew up loving to swim, hunt, fish, cook, and was also very talented at hand carving as well as watercolor painting. Gary lost his battle with diabetes and dialysis at the age of 75 but with his positive love for life, he lived until he died. He will never be forgotten, as he was truly a wonderful person to know and, as they say, a "one of a kind".
