Carol Evans

–

Meridian, Idaho

With profound admiration, we celebrate the remarkable life of Carol Kay Evans, who was born in Boise, Idaho, on December 8, 1943, and resided in Meridian, Idaho at the time of her departure. Carol, a beacon of warmth and love, was a person who deeply touched every life she came across. Her creative spirit, inspiring strength, boundless generosity, and unending love will be genuinely missed by her family and friends, and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know her.

Carol's career at Consolidated Freightways spanned over three decades, a testament to her dedication and hard work. After her well-earned retirement in 1995, Carol fully embraced her passions and hobbies. She was an avid reader, consistently enriching her mind, and her love for sewing, cooking, and watching movies brought joy to those around her. Carol's infectious laughter and playful banter, particularly with her son-in-law, filled their home with happiness. She had a unique flair for making every day special, whether that was through her daily indulgence in chocolate or the companionship of her beloved puppies. Just as Maya Angelou once said, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Carol truly embodied this throughout her life.

Carol proudly leaves behind a beautiful legacy in her family. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Mecier and Kim Hall; her son-in-law, Paul Mecier; her grandchildren, Jordan Wagner, Garrett Mecier, and Cody Hall; and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Mecier and London Wagner. Predeceased by her father, William Mahon, her mother, Margery Bainbridge, and her sister, Patricia Beagley, she now joins them in eternal rest. Carol was a beacon of love and support for her family, always putting their happiness first. Her family was the center of her world, and she was the heart of theirs.

We invite everyone whose lives were touched by Carol to share their memories, stories, and photographs of her on her memorial page. No memory is too small or trivial; each one contributes to the beautiful tapestry that was Carol's life. Let's remember and celebrate her vibrant spirit, her love for life, and the countless moments of joy she created for us all.
