Marcella Mae Jenkins, 84, of Star, Idaho, passed on peacefully as she went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2017, after a nine-month battle with colon cancer. She was a strong, brave woman who handled this battle with amazing dignity and found strength in the Lord Jesus Christ. Marcella was born July 22, 1932, in Natrona, to Polish immigrants Josephine Nyga Kolwicz and Michael Kolwicz. She was married to her first husband, Robert Rosenberger, for more than 20 years, and then was married to her second husband, Lorin Jenkins, for over 20 years. Marcella was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother, and she blessed many with her joy of cooking! She was hardworking and generous, and enjoyed her family and living life to the fullest. She was very close to her younger sister, Barbara Malicki, whom she called just about every day. In March of this year, Barbara, Marcella and her three grandchildren, Zachary, Aurielle and Elise took a long-planned and memorable vacation to Disneyworld in Orlando. Marcella is survived by her son, Kevin Rosenberger; a daughter-in-law, Janine Rosenberger; a grandson, Zachary Rosenberger; granddaughters, Aurielle Rosenberger and Elise Rosenberger; sisters, Eleanor DeAngelis and Barbara Malicki; a sister-in-law, Patricia Kolwicz; a close niece, Carol Almony; stepsons, Michael Jenkins, Lorin Jenkins Jr. and Jeff Jenkins; stepdaughter, Crystal Jenkins; and many stepgrandchildren. Marcella was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Rosenberger; second husband, Lorin Jenkins; father, Michael Kolwicz; mother, Josephine Nyga Kolwicz; brothers, Michael Kolwicz Jr. and Edward Kolwicz; and sisters, Marie Abate and Renee Kreminski. May God comfort you during this time. Through his Word he assures us that he will replace death with life, sickness with perfect health and suffering with joy. He yearns to bring back many who have fallen asleep in death, to see them live again right here on earth under the best of conditions.
