Lila Dianne Denning 70, of Eagle, Idaho passed away after a year long battle with cirrhosis on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Lila was born July 27, 1951 in Long Beach, California. Her last days were spent with her family and loved ones around her, reminiscing about family memories and listening to some of her favorite music.
Lila was passionate about her family as well as specific items in pop culture: Peanuts, Minions, and most recently The Child from Mandalorian. She would often speak of genealogy, sharing her ancestry, usually during daily chores or while making dinner. Little things like birthday parties, coffee/bingo with the girls, a fruit smoothie, and spending time with her sons, their families that lived nearby, particularly Will and Emily, their kids, Craig and his kids, brought her joy.
Lila is survived by her 5 children: Kyle, Shauna, Jeremy, Craig, Will, and her daughter in-law, Emily (basically her 6th child), as well as 14 grandchildren and one Great Grandchild on the way.
Lila was a homemaker much of her life, She was a mother, a grandmother, a secretary, but her passion was teaching. She pursued that passion in the form of a college degree in teaching, graduating from Boise State University.
As a grandma and mother she enjoyed helping where she could with day to day activities, including trips to the library, sharing her passion for books and reading. Whenever there was a recital, concert or other school event, she was there. Her final wishes were that she be surrounded by family. She was loved and will ultimately be missed.
