Kim Marie Wicker

Kim Marie Wicker

Kim Marie Wicker passed away surrounded by her family in Meridian, Idaho, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was 54.

Kim was born October 12, 1967 in Rupert, Idaho, the youngest of five children born to Bill and Joanne Middlemist. Kim graduated from Wood River High School in Hailey, Idaho, in 1986. She married Tony Wicker in 1991 and they were blessed with the light of their life, Calli, who was born in 2001 on her mom’s birthday. Kim and Tony later divorced.

Kim worked at Horizon Air for many years, beginning in Hailey, Idaho, and ultimately moving to Boise, Idaho. Though Kim loved working at Horizon Air, she decided to make a career change and moved to MDU for the last 13 years. Her relationship with coworkers was very special and they were family to her.

To quote Kim, “Calli was her everything!” Everyday was special for Kim and Calli—just being together. They travelled, regularly critiqued reality shows, and loved going to family dinner on Sundays. Kim loved anything outdoors: skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, cycling, and golfing. Kim also loved fun runs and participated in 30+ runs with her “run buddy” Liz. They had so many adventures and they all ended with a White Claw.
Kim met her soulmate, Mike, who shared her love for the outdoors. They enjoyed anything and everything together.

Kim is survived by her daughter, Calli, and siblings Pam, Craig (Jenn), and Sherri (Dean), as well as several nieces and nephews. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Joanne, and her brother David.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Kleiner Park, Meridian, Idaho, on Sunday, 9/25/22.
