Kenneth Earl Damron, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Kuna, surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1947, in Toronto, Kansas, to Bert and Goldie Damron. He married Merivella Parker on April 9, 1966 in Rupert, Idaho. He served in the United States Army from 1966 – 1969 with duty in Vietnam. He worked for J.R. Simplots much of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He is survived by his children, Alisa (Roger) Hare, Dora Santos, Alex Damron, Ruth Ventura, Justin Pague and Kenneth Pague; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Bella Vida Funeral Home, 9661 W Chinden Blvd., Garden City, Idaho with Rev Karen Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at the Kuna cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service. The family would like to extend our gratitude to Horizon Home Health for the in-home care given to Ken for the last 4 years.
