Kathleen Roberta Vaughn

Kathleen Roberta Vaughn, 65, of Nampa ID (formally Sterling CO) passed away January 3, 2017 in her home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Kathy was born in McCook NE on January 11, 1951 to the late Kenneth and Helen Vaughn. Kathy worked for a long time at Radio Shack in Sterling before it burnt down, then worked at Best Western there until she was no longer able to work. Kathy also sold Avon for many years. She loved bowling, bingo, playing cards and domino’s, and spoiling her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by daughter Jodi Vaughn and husband Juan Salas Jr, of Nampa ID; grandchildren Alexis, Mercedes, and Johnny of Nampa ID; Sisters Susan Reents of McCook NE; Nancy Danley of Lincoln NE; and Barb Green of Holdrege NE; Brother Kevin Vaughn of Roosevelt WA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents Kenneth and Helen, sister Jennifer Cosgrove, and brothers Kenneth and Thomas Vaughn. There will be a service held later in Nebraska.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it seems to be something we all are accustomed too. Please be assured that the bible promises that God will soon undo death (Revelation 21:3,4) and he promises in John 5:28,29 to resurrect our loved ones right here on earth. I hope these promises as well as your wonderful memories bring you comfort.
