Kalinda “Kali” Jean Robertson, age 19, of Meridian Idaho passed away peacefully in her family’s home on March 3, 2023 due to complications from pneumonia combined with cerebral palsy. Kali was born on February 7, 2004 in Boise Idaho to Karen Auger and Danny Robertson. Two months prior to her scheduled arrival, she suffered a stroke and quit moving which forced an emergency delivery. This led to lifelong disabilities and medical challenges. Despite not being able to walk or talk, Kali tackled life head on. She was a happy soul. Her smile would light up a room. She brought joy everywhere she went. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Everyone who spent time with her enjoyed making her smile and laugh. Kali loved people deeply. Her smiles were genuine. When she smiled it made your world stand still as if nothing else mattered. Kali loved everything Disney, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She loved her Mike Wazowski toy, balloons popping, dogs barking, babies crying, and generally being surrounded by chaos. She even loved it when her siblings got in trouble. For her, it was the louder the better. Raising a handicapped child takes a village. The family wishes to thank everyone who became part of Kali’s world. There were countless health care professionals, care givers, school teachers, church members, friends, and family who stepped in and cared for her throughout her life.Kali is survived by her parents; stepmother, Jenny Robertson; siblings, Sydney and Nick Robertson; stepsiblings, Todd, Kate and Alice Lemmons; and many extended family members.Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1695 E Amity Rd, Meridian ID on Saturday March 11, 2023.
