Joseph Alan Lake

by those who loved him. Joe was born September 12, 1971 in Grand Rapids, MI to Michael and Kathleen Lake He loved football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. Everyone knew it because he never went anywhere without Chief’s gear on. He had a genuine heart for people and animals alike and had many fur babies over the years. He was a wonderful cook and could grill anything. His brisket will be unrivaled. He loved cars and driving, and enjoying the outdoors. He appreciated music and collected albums from the 70’s. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Barrett and step father Stephen of Derby, KS; his partner, Krystal Tolle; brothers Jeremy Lake of San Diego, CA, and Joshua Lake of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lake and his grandparents on both sides. Joe will be greatly missed, but lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
