Jorge W Vera Langenegger

Jorge Washington Vera Langenegger passed away Monday November 16, 2020.

He was born August 2, 1956 in Santa Barbara Chile. He is the second of five children born to Carlos Humberto Vera Vera and Alida Del Carmen Langenegger Langenegger. 

When he was two years old the family moved to Los Angeles, Chile.

In Chile he worked as a set design assistant/stage hand and a mechanic.

He moved to the United States in 1986.

Jorge studied Horticulture and started his own landscaping business. He had a passion for plants and trees. He had a tree for every grandchild.

 He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren taking them on scenic car rides pointing out the beauty of nature.

He was a well-educated man, who loved to learn. He was a man of discussion, who could sit and talk with everyone for hours.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his two brothers Juan Carlos Vera Langenegger and Arturo Enrique Vera Langenegger, his two sisters Alida Del Carmen Vera Langenegger and Jeannette Mercedes Vera Langenegger. His six children Carlos Vera, Alida Vera, Meliza Vera, Magdalena Monjaras, Ricardo Vera and Roberto Vera, his eleven grandchildren Cooper Vera, Amaya Vera, Christian Monjaras, Oliva Vera, Dean Vera, Dodge Vera, Tristian Vera, Evalynn Monjaras, Bella Monjaras, Benjamin Vera and Mando Row.

He will be greatly missed and remembered.
