Jeanne Ruth Hooper

Jeanne Ruth Hooper, 92, of Boise, Idaho passed away peacefully in her home on November, 23, 2016.

Born May 31, 1924 in Biddeford, Maine, she was the daughter of John and Elise Larochelle.

She is survived by her two loving sons John Philip Hooper and James Ray Hooper; her beloved nieces Denise Hodsdon and Diane Larochelle Jewwett; nephew Guy Larochelle; Seven grandchildren, Zachary, Alyse, Sophia, Jamie, Hannah, William and Sarah; and one great granddaughter Quinn.

Jeanne had a successful career as a hairdresser, but once her boys were school age, she embraced her next career as a homemaker. Jeanne h

ad many creative talents in addition to cutting hair including knitting , playing the piano, playing cards, and cooking up meals for anyone who walked in the door. Jeanne was a people person and loved to entertain and laugh.

A memorial will be held at Morningstar Retirement Living in Boise, ID on December 12, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Additionally, Jeanne never forgot growing up in her beloved Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Family and friends will gather in Maine next summer to celebrate Jeanne’s life.

    I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Death is an enemy that we have no controll over. Our heavenly Father however does. He will soon bring an end to this aged-old-enemy. He will swallow death up forever.
