Glenda May Higginbotham Gibson, 72, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on January 11, 2016 due to complications of Alzheimer’s.
No funeral service will be held at this time, a private gathering for family and close friends will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
Glenda was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 7, 1943 the only child of Glen W and Rosa M Higginbotham. She graduated from Kimberly High School class of 1961.
Glenda was married to Leonard Lynn Lindsey and with this marriage they had two children Toby Lynn and Jerry Allen. They were later divorced. Shortly after she married Vernon Leuane Gibson and with this union they had two children Verlin Glenn and Heidi Leanne.
Glenda and Vernon resided in Boise and moved to San Jose California where they lived the California dream until 1970 when a car accident claimed the life of Vern. Glenda persevered and overcame many obstacles and recovered from multiple injuries she sustained. Once she reclaimed her children and health she moved back to Idaho where she remained until her death.
Glenda is survived by her children, Toby (ZoAnne), Jerry, Verlin, Heidi Watters (Jeff)and the joy of her life her grandchildren. Heidi Salas (Ronnie), James Lindsey, Heather Lindsey, Cassidy (Laura) Lindsey, Lacey Watters and Jordyn Watters. In addition her Great Grandchildren, Isaih & Izik Salas, Hailey & Hayden Ramsey, Brayden & Chloe Lindsey and one on the way …
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband’s Len and Vern and many other family members that left us way too soon.
