Gayle Valerie Higgins

Beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Gayle Studied at Howard Payne University and Azuza College beginning her career as a social worker helping youth through many hardships she herself had overcome. Relocating in the late 70’s, she served her Boise community as an RN for several decades. She loved hiking, camping, the great outdoors and especially the ocean. Gayle was an elder sister, wise counselor, and faithful friend. She brought light and joy to all who encountered her and always had a kind word in challenging situation. Gayle is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Rose Jobbins, her brother John Higgins, aunt Joyce Jones, nephew Ryan Higgins, cousin Brad Jones. She is survived by her brother Thomas Higgins, nieces Caroline and Rose Higgins, great nieces and nephews Alexia Palladino, Rebekah and Julia Judkins, Kana Ameha Smith, Kaitlin Higgins, Michael, Meghan, Brian, Patrick Higgins, Sebastian Borges. Cousins Martin (Mary) Jones, Margaret Jones and beloved friend Marlene Christensen. Gayle was recently baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, Cherry Lane ward of Meridian.
