David W. Price

David W. Price, 87 died November 12th 2022.David was born August 14th 1935 in Milan Missouri to Nora and DW Price, and grew up in Jerome Idaho. He was a helicopter crew chief in the US Army and served in Korea, during the Korean War. He met and married his wife, Marlene, in 1958 when stationed at the Hanford Site in Washington. They had four children; Mike, Debbie, Gary, and Shelly. After his service in the Army, David continued working for M.H. Kings department store and retired as a district manager, after 43 years.David loved riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, golfing, and spending time at his cabin in Island Park, until he and Marlene moved to Boise Idaho in 1990. After Marlene passed away in 1994, David met Sharon Hymas, and the two later married in 1998. They enjoyed many years of traveling and spending time at their homes in Garden Valley and Queen Valley Arizona, until they permanently moved to Boise in 2000.David’s biggest joy was helping others. He gave all of his family a very good life and always made sure his friends and family were taken care of.David is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Mike (Susan) Price of Middleton, daughter Debbie (Terry) Sechler of Boise, daughter Shelly (Sam) Stephenson of Boise, five granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, and a great grandson.David was preceded in death by his parents; Nora Grimes and D.W. Price, his wife Marlene Price, and his son Gary Price.In lieu of giving flowers, the family requests that memorials can be made to the Macular Degeneration Society. David’s Going Away Party will be held at Powderhaus Brewing Company, in Garden City Idaho, on Wednesday November 16th at 5PM. “Pat Pat Pat”.

    Ron and I want to send you our condolences on the loss of Dave. He was a great guy and always a lot of fun. It is a pleasure to know him and your Mom for all those years. Had a lot of good times at the Burnt Offering. Then meeting and getting to know Sharon was great. He was a great guy with a funny laugh. We think of him often!
