I miss you so much dad, I wish you were still here. I love you!
I know the Ricks family has saddened hearts because of losing Carl in death. So I wanted to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalms 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man’s greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. ” God’s kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. It is my prayer this scripture will give you comfort in your grief.
I’m sorry for the loss of your dear loved one, Carl, and may you find comfort in the God of all comfort, Jehovah, thru his word, in Psalms 34:18: Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. God’s word also says in Isaiah 25;8: He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…For Jehovah himself has spoken it. (Psalms 83:18; Titus 1:2) Isaiah 33:25; Revelation 21:3-5; / John 5:28,29; John 11:25,26. This is what God’s Kingdom, under Jesus Christ rulership, will accomplish in the very near future, for all those who love righteousness. The true God promises in his word, in Psalms 37:11,29:..The meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace 29: The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Ecclesiastes 1:4; Job 33:25; Isaiah 35:5,6; Isaiah 65:21,22. (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
Thank you Del for the wonderful service and your shoulder to lean and cry on. I don’t know what I would have done without you. Also a special thanks to Tammie and the girls.
