Cameron L. Miles

Cameron L. Miles

Cameron L Miles passed away on October 3, 2017 in Ontario, Oregon at the age of 28.  Cameron recently moved to Boise, Idaho with his wife, Kimberly Jane Miles, and their two daughters, Madison Jane and Avalyn Grace. They moved from Houston, Texas where Cameron graduated from the Wolff Center of Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Cameron was born on May 19, 1989 in Boise, Idaho where he lived until moving to Austin, Texas with his family in 1995 and then moved to Pflugerville, Texas in 2002. During his senior year at age 17, he enlisted through the delayed entry program in the United States Marine Corps. He received his Eagle Scout award May 2007, turned 18 on May 19, 2007, graduated Pflugerville High School and left for boot camp 3 weeks later. Cameron’s desire to serve our country was sparked by the events of 9/11 and he especially wanted to be deployed as infantry. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA and served in Iraq and Afghanistan where he drove an LAV-25. He continued in active duty stationed in Okinawa, Japan as a career planner.

Cameron has always had so much love to give. He loves animals, and when he was younger he would catch anything that he could, including a baby bunny,  raccoon, and a baby bird with a hurt leg. He even caught a snake that he kept as a pet for 2 years. Cameron disliked camping as a child. He started to camp with Kimberly in Okinawa and they loved to camp and fish, most recently in Idaho. His favorite physical activities were golfing, and most recently, hunting with his father and three brothers. Gaming, music, and movies were his favorite past times.  He had a contagious sense of humor and was always telling jokes. Cameron gave the best hugs, was incredibly thoughtful, and his girls meant the world to him.
