Fred White of Boise, Idaho passed away, Friday October 28, 2016. He was born in Wendell, Idaho on April 1, 1949. His parents are Alfred and Jean White. He was raised in Jerome, Idaho and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969. He served in Vietnam from March 1970 to February 1971 where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and a Bronze Star Medal. He returned home and moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where his oldest son, Trey, was born. He transferred to Twin Falls, Idaho where his son Scott was born. He married Diane in 1982 and got a daughter as well. He adopted Jody in 1985. He worked for Arnold Machinery until 1982, moved on to work for Allied Handling, Century Equipment and then to JI Case as General Manger. When JI Case closed the store here, he decided to stay in Boise and started a business of his own in 1992. Echo Enterprises was launched and led him to his final employment as Regional Manager at Fairview Terrace Estates. He enjoyed the Oregon Coast, Granite Lake Camping, Yellowstone, Redwoods, 4th of July BBQs, and all family celebrations.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Alfred Ivan White, Sr. and his grandparents. His survivors are, wife Diane, sons Trey (Tari) and Scott (Nikie) daughter Jody (Jess), mother Jean Gardner, sisters Peggy (Jim) and Connie (Randy) and brother Gary (Lorna), grandchildren Patrick, Jacque, Tiffany, Dallas, Cassie, Kylee, Payton and Camryn and many nieces and nephews.
We will be Celebrating his life on Friday, November 4th at Fairview Terrace Estates Clubhouse at 700 E. Fairview Ave, Meridian, Idaho between 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Feel Free in joining us and wear your favorite Boise State attire.
